Billy
HerZiG...
...is
originally from Ft. Worth, Texas.  He was the owner and
main engineer of Abalone Studio from 1982-1988.  During these
years, Zig recorded and produced demos, jingles, and custom record
projects. He also played in bands throughout the Dallas/Ft.Worth
area.
Since
moving to Nashville in 1989, Billy Herzig has been a staff writer
for Sony/Tree, Music Daily-Warner/Chappell and Peer/Talbot Music. 
He wrote "Right From The Start," a #1 single for Earl Thomas Conley
(RCA) which was also used in the movie "Roadhouse".  As an acoustic
guitarist, Billy has played on hundreds of demo sessions, many times
as leader.
Since
1996, Billy has co-owned Grey House Studio where he engineers and
produces demos for many writers and publishers.  He has also
produced custom cd projects, indy label projects, as well as development
deal demos and masters for several major labels.
Zig has done demos for Capitol, Atlantic, MCA, Sony, Warner Bros.,
Warner-Chappell, BMG, RCA, Asylum, Arista, Universal, Famous, EMI,
Almo-Irving, Polygram, Blue Water, High Seas, Hamstein, Curb, Sony/ATV,
and many others.
