Each CD project is different according to the style of music, the budget, the deadline, and the reason for recording.

• The average project is 8 to 14 songs.

• The average amount of time spent in the studio is 5 to 15 hours per song - so a 10-song CD could take from 50 to 150 hours. This time includes tracking, overdubs, vocals, and mixing.

• Mastering is also available - on average, this costs about $300 for a 12-song project.
